STOLEN!!!

January 24, 2003.
As I arose this morning, I noticed that the Pabst Blue Wagon and the brand-new equipment trailer were not in front of my house, where I left it last night. No, it wasn't down the street, or anywhere to be seen. I came to the sobering conclusion that it had been stolen.
STOLEN? GDMFSOB!!
Yes friends, stolen.
Everything with the exception of Matt's drums (which he had) and EZ's stuff (he was playing last night with 9-Volt). Guitars, amps, cords, cases, everything. Thank God I had enough sense to insure it all.
If you come across any equipment that looks like ours, let me know. Or call the Birmingham Police Dept at:
205-254-2793.
I will post a list of the items with serial numbers tomorrow.
I'm not sure what the immediate future holds for us, since we have no F**KING equipment... Hopefully, the insurance companies will come through so we can get back on the road.
What a day.

Finally, a new vehicle!  Sure, it has a few rust spots, but it does the job...  Knock on wood

OK, here's the story - legend has it that the PBW originated from a U.S. Government motor pool somewhere in New Hampshire, hence the rust.  Whether the F.B.I. or the Air National Guard owned it is still to be determined.  But there is no denying the menacing stance and the stealthy sleeper looks about this monster, no sir!

By the way, the moniker "Pabst Blue Wagon" was coined by an anonymous suggestion on one of our web-polls when we bought the truck.  In no way does Pabst Brewing Company endorse the band (yet...) nor did they give their permission to us for the name.  Like those pesky internet file sharers, we just took it!  But hey, we like their beer!!!
